The good thing about this beach is the easy access, unlike the other beaches where you must hike to. It's a big beach with a lot of driftwood. It overlooks a few of the small islands in the area and extends down a good chunk of the town. Because of the easy access it got pretty busy when we were... 更多
We did not like this beach. Parking is very, very limited. Once at the parking lot there is a sign saying you need to leave and go buy a parking permit. Driftwood is thick and blocks direct access to the beach. You can of course climb over the driftwood. We didn't feel safe here. Someone made a home on the... 更多
It's easily reached and easy to walk but is fairly rocky depending upon the tide and time of year. The cliffs are beautiful at one end and fishing boats go in and out at the other end near the jetty. It's fabulous, but Second Beach is my most favorite of all. First is great for s'mores and fires. Some people... 更多
We went here following the "twilight" spots ... well, that aside, it is a very cool beach. Just being there watching the giant boulders standing tall in the horizon, it's quite impressive, I'm pretty sure that one could take amazing pictures during a sunset / sunrise, unfortunately for me, we went in the afternoon. This place is very easy to... 更多
First Beach is okay. This was the first beach we visited on our trip. The beach was fine, but the small town of La Push is very poor and run down. First Beach is at the tip of the town and it's sad to say, but the nature of the town took away from the beauty of the beach. We... 更多
Really Nice to walk along the beach, kids are able to walk on beach or have fun walking on the tall trees that have washed up onto the shore.
We had a picnic lunch at La Push - First Beach. Even though it was raining we wandered down the beach looking at the amazing driftwood and watching the surfers. While watching the boats go in and out of the harbor we watched a bald eagle too. Photos did not do the place justice as it was so grey, they... 更多
It was a reasonable drive here from the Olympic National Park areas, also easy to find parking at this beach. We saw a bald eagle next to the parking lot! The beach is part sand, part rocks, part driftwood. Walking along the shoreline isn't too difficult. The beach view is amazing. So fun!
We stayed at the resort and enjoyed First Beach for three days. During the summer, definitely have a fire on the beach at sundown! There are incredible, huge old tress washed up the entire length of the beach.
