Great location. Used to be free to have a picnic. Not been back since it was charged. A real shame as it was a good family location. We have driven thru and is hardly used
We like to be near to some restaurants and activities when we RV camp. Dash Point State park is really close to great food and lots to do. We live in the north end so it allowed us a great base to explore the south. The park was clean and tidy and the pull through sport perfect for us. If... 更多
Went here to check it out, worth the trip. The areas were clean and easily accessible. The beach was nice to walk up and down, some neat things to see along the way. The trails appeared to be kept up but I can imagine it would be a little slick in the rain.
This park can be very deceiving in size. Not only is the park located on Puget Sound but there are many hiking trails that achieve higher elevations. it has camping, picnicking and beaches.
The campground at Dash Point State Park is surprisingly good, considering how close it is to Seattle and Tacoma. In particular, the 'standard' (no hookups) sites are reasonably private and quiet. The sites with electricity and water/sewer hookups are much more tightly-packed together, and not nearly as nice. The bathroom was clean and well-kept, although there was only one shower... 更多
My wife and I went here to hike some of the trails with our dog. They are allowed as long as they are on a leash, which we always do to make sure our dog is safe and not bothering others. Less than a mile into the walk we had already passed 3 people with their large dogs not on... 更多
Dash Point State Park is actually divided into two parts. The camping area is on one side of Dash Point Rd and the beach/day use area is one the other side. There is a year round ranger on the park. As this is a state park you have to pay an entrance fee for the beach but not if you're... 更多
I've grown-up in Washington State, and am accustomed to the beautiful outdoor treasures we have here. But at the last-minute, the only o-line reservable campsite to be found was at Dash Point, in humble Federal Way less than an hour south of Seattle. We were surprised by our nicely treed, private tent site. There were miles of walking trails, well-signed... 更多
The park along the beach has had major work done and is a delight to stroll. Picnics, beach combing, wading or just enjoying nature; this is a tranquil place. The walking trails are nice and easy. Bathrooms and parking are good too.
