On our way up to Mud Mountain we almost got hit by a car coming around one of the sharp blind corners. Please stay on your side of the road while driving up the mountain, it can be dangerous. Once you get there, its a wonderful place to take your children to play on a hot summer day or even... 更多
This has been a favorite of ours for many years. We have been going to Mud Mountain dam for 40+ years. It has some great picnic shelters and a great play set for kids. They also have Awatere feature in the summer to cool off under.
This is a great place to take the kids and play. There are two different play areas with several wide open fields. There are also several picnic covers with bbq. There is an other look to see the dam and reservoir.
Enjoy our annual family picnic here every year. Clean, well maintained. Wading pool and play equipment for the kids. Hiking trails nearby. Large areas for games. Shelters for protection from the sun or rain if you aren't lucky.
We brought our nephew and his family here in October for a picnic, before heading up to Mowich Lake. They'd not been here before, and the kids really enjoyed the playground equipment while we barbecued our lunch. They all enjoyed the walk to the dam overlook and learning more about the facility.
There are plenty of things for all to enjoy. I believe the pavilions may need to be reserved and fees paid but I'm not sure. Plenty of free park area with hiking, small water pool for kids, and play areas for kids.
Great summer place to take kids. They have a nice little hiking trail down to the dam. They have a great play area with swings and also the wadding pool. The water is a little cold but it doesn't seem to bother the kids.
