Our 10 and 12 year old enjoyed this little Bug Museum packed with interesting insects (dead and alive), plus a reptile room. It not only kept their interest but mine as well. Looking around takes about 45 minutes. The staff is helpful and informative. The museum is free but accepts donations. There is a nice collection of insects that one... 更多
I love coming in here and seeing the bugs and reptiles that they have here. They also have a ceiling to floor butterfly net with live butterflies. The weekends are cooler that's when they bring out bugs so you can see them up close and also the reptiles.
I liked the live tarantulas and bugs and ants, and the huge displays of mounted bugs were awfully impressive. We saw live bugs that looked like non-bugs (leaves, sticks), and many other exhibits, but I’d have to say the reptiles were my favorites. There is a huge, gorgeous albino boa constrictor named Stella who likes people (as friends, not food... 更多
Lucy and I enjoy the Bug Museum. She like the snakes and reptiles, me not so much. But having said that, great place to take a child with a curious mind. Thank you for being there!!!
This really is a great place to visit. The bugs are mounted, behind glass, and have real good labels so you can learn about them, or read them out loud so your kids hear about them. They have reptiles too, in a spearate room. And live turtles. You will learn a lot. It's not gross. It's fun. And Free
This is a fun - and free place to visit. The kids loved it, and there is plenty for adults to see also. Our little guy really enjoyed the reptile room as well as the activity where he could look at insect specimens under light with a magnifying glass. They also have a gift shop with really reasonably priced souvenirs... 更多
I have never been to a bug museum so when I saw this pop up I knew we had to check it out. The museum is free and loaded with dead bugs as well as some live ones to check out. There were activity sheets for kids, gift shop novelties, and even reptiles in the back. I was surprise that... 更多
This is a little house with several rooms given over to exhibits of bugs, insects, amphibians, etc. The reptile room in the back is far too warm but if you wanna see the snakes, go there. I loved the butterfly cage right inside the front door. There are some lovely cases full of dead bugs pinned to boards and labeled.... 更多
I was a skeptical Dad when hearing of how much the kids had when visiting this place the first couple of years it was open. Stories of them getting to touch or pet the various critters topped the list of highlights. Upon visiting for my first time I was indeed pleasantly surprised at how much has been fit into a... 更多
