This is a place I would highly recommend to those who love history, the Coast Guard, possible ghost stories and the ocean. This would be a great place to take family to take a tour of the Coast Guard beginnings, any age but those who are older would appreciate it more I think. Guides take you around to see the... 更多
As a maritime professional this is a fun place to visit. It's an amazing slice of US Coast Guard history showing how things were and the equipment in use years ago. Since its on the boardwalk there's easy access to it and you can get a good sense of it in a short visit if you're with small children.
A quaint piece of history on the boardwalk. Part store part museum. A lot of information about the lifesaving stations along to coast. The little tour is worth the few dollars it costs.

Fascinating museum to learn about the rescues performed by the brave Coast Guardsmen who patrolled this area. Well worth the stop-in and to visit the cute gift shop.
Took my father in law. We had a wonderful time, lots of informative displays. The locations is on the beach and is the perfect location for further exploring.

I learned much about the ingenuity of early life savers who risked their own lives to save those aboard foundering ships. We left with a new awareness and sense of pride in this particular part of history - selflessness that was... 更多
