We live in DC where Wilson's house is a hidden gem of a museum. The birthplace museum was worth a visit and the tour was informative. Wilson didn't spend much time here, but the museum gives a good overview of his life and the house is well-furnished with period pieces.
Although I've been in Staunton a number of times, I never made the time to visit the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace mostly because Wilson spent just his first years in Staunton. A visit with a guided tour to the modest manse where Woodrow Wilson's family lived briefly gives a rich American life history lesson in about an hour. A movie can be viewed before or after the tour. Our tour guide was very informative and we found the tour to be quite information and enjoyable. It's just a short walk from the Stonewall Jackson Hotel which I would recomend
