The best produce around. The vendors are all local and the food is superb. Why go to the grocery store this time of year and buy 15 day old produce shipped from the west coast when you can buy local produce.
I have lived in the area for awhile and had never been to Smithfield. Based on a recommendation my young daughter and I went to the farmers market early on Saturday morning. There is plenty of parking, lots of vendors to select from, and a very friendly atmosphere. We purchased wonderful sweet corn and peppers, which grilled well. I will... 更多
We really enjoy or trips to Smithfield. The Main Street feel is very cozy. Although Smithfield is known for its hams, this little market offers lots of produce, baked goods, pastries, crafts, and many other things. We've been participating for 10 years at least and enjoy each drive through the country to get there. We usually eat lunch downtown then... 更多
Small town venue with a whole lotta fun! Always fantastic baked goods and other foods like fresh eggs, country ham and veggies. Sprinkling of crafts makes it interesting. Best ever wood-fired pizza and usually some kind of breakfast offerings. The specialty markets during the year are great, too, and come at an off time when there is no produce available.... 更多
The Smithfield Farmers market has a variety of things. Fresh vegetables in season great pastries, food, coffee and even great gifts. I go every Saturday and the local live music is always different but enjoyable.

This place is nice but a little small. It would've been better to see more vendors. We did buy some very yummy pastries and the vendors that were there were very friendly and giving!
There local farmers sell vegetables, fruits, pork and beef and some bring their llamas to the market...the wool is sold and good entertainment for the kids. There are also bake goods sales tents and local entertainers. I do go regularly.
