We went to pick apples, and it was a long hike, over rocks and streams, not passable for strollers or small children, only to find over-picked trees and rotten fruit. I would definitely not go back there again.

Great place to pick your own fruit in season (check the website or the sign out front). Buckets are provided, or you can take your own container and they'll weigh it before you pick. The cherries are fantastic and the yellow peaches are quite nice.
Their apples are covered in a clay to protect them from insects. The apples we harvested were pulpy and dry and not fit for straight eating. The price was higher than usual so, although I live near this farm, I would not go back.
While in wine country, we wanted to find a non alcohol related activity to do with a baby. This was a fantastic choice. The owners of the orchard were extremely helpful and pointed us in the direction of the best fruit. We were able to pick apples, peaches, and blackberries. Low prices, friendly people, and a beautiful orchard.
