The diesel engined train run and staffed completely by volunteers is a cheap and worthwhile experience. Cost is about $20 although there are various discounts available. The return trip lasts about 40 mins and the highlight is probably the view from the final bridge. it's a nice little journey and the car/motorbike ride into Walhalla is also big on scenery.... 更多

The train is three open carriages pulled by a diesel loco. Its a slow meander through the valley. Very picturesque. Not the most comfortable ride, but overall a good experience.
Jumped on board the small scenic rail trip and had a wonderful ride down and back up the valley. Only took 20 minutes each way with a 20 minute turn around at the end. This is an amazing story, and what a fabulous little adventure, fully staffed by volunteers who clearly love what they do. A train ride through the old cuttings give you a real sense of how desolate this place would have been in the gold era. Great experience and well worth doing.
Wonderful train ride alongside the beautiful Stringers Creek and through the gorge. The countryside and creek is beautiful. This is the best rail journey I have ever been on for scenery, atmosphere and all round fun.
