This public beach is just down from the famous Poseidon Thermal Spa. You can rent chaise lounges and/or umbrellas. Parking is nearby and doesn't cost too much. You can also take the CD or CS bus and walk down from the main street.
Indeed crowded on mid-July but really nice and full of fun. A good time for families with kids. We actually went to Giardini Poseidon (entry 36 euro adults - 18 children) and in the entrance is also included the seat and umbrella on the beach, which is way less crowded and cleaner than on the other parts of the beach.... 更多

Beach with sand. Much free. There are a couple of beaches with affordable especially if you are staying in accommodation facilities. Wishing there is also a small supermarket and other stores. This is a long narrow beach with private sections. We spent a couple of hours on a public section but it was very busy. Swimming in the sea was lovely but I'd prefer to be a few feet away from other people if possible!
Citara Beach is a fun place. My family enjoyed the water, sand, local shops, food choices, etc. As in most of Europe you rent a sun umbrella and lounge chairs.
