Villa Romana is worth a quick visit if you happen to be in Minori . The villa's remains are in good condition & you could imagine what it was like when it was originally built . Just one thing for us English only speakers - some descriptions in English would really help !!
Was staying as my Son was getting Married. The Staff were Great, especially the Reception Girls. only Comment I would make, is that the Restaurant doesn't open till 7-30 am for Breakfast and when you are going out on Trips it doesn't give you enough time to Eat
A small seaside Roman villa discovered in 1954 which is free to visit. There is an exhibition area with exhibits and diagrams labelled in Italian. Only 5 mins from our hotel and we had an hour to kill before going up the coast by boat so decided to pay the villa a visit. Very interesting although a lot of the historical text is in Italian. Free entry and they like you to sign a visitors book. Leave a small donation if you like.

We finally asked a shopkeeper and they advised us to go around the block and that's where we located the museum and entry to the ruins.... 更多
What a welcome surprise during our drive along the Amalfi Coast. Someone suggested we stop hear and we are do glad they did. It was so interesting to wander with a private guide through this perfectly preserved Roman Villa. If you did not know it was there, you would never find this. The entry fee is free, but donations are... 更多

All the information is in Italian and so the whole visit took us no more than 20 minutes. There is one room, no.6, which has... 更多
