This is an amazing place! I worked on the island for a month in 2013, and was constantly amazed by the people and the environment. The howler monkeys would serenade us every morning, and the wildlife is truly wild!
We did encounter some poisonous snakes when trekking through the foliage, but rubber boots and a machete will fix that problem.
