We tried to fit in some things for the little ones. This was a great stop. The staff was so nice and went the extra mile giving our children goody bags to take home.
The staff was friendly and the museum is on the same floor as the firefighter officials. We went specifically because my 5 yr old son is crazy about firefighting. He met a firefighter named Mike and got a special tour and he's still talking about him a week later. Fun for kids and adults, too.
This is a great little museum worth stopping by for a half hour or so. It would be good for small children and equipment buffs. They have early and more recent communications panels as well as a fire hose wagon that was probably pulled by a horse. There was a lot of old pictures as well.
