We are local and looking for something different to do. We went for a tour of the farm and then shipped the store. The owner is hands on and a wealth of knowledge. Beautiful plants and great advice! It's very hidden so don't give up until you find it! The lavender is gorgeous.
Neat place as they have unique herb plants and all kinds of other unusual plants and miscellaneous items ,including local honey, from right there on the property. All of the employees could not be more helpful.
Such a cool place to buy lavendar sachets! Last Christmas, I bought 8 of them and included them as stocking stuffers. Everyone loved them! My daughter bought lavender and made lemon lavender cupcakes. Great selection of oils too.
Lunch was lovely, and the farm grounds are very nice. The sorbet at the end of lunch was delicious while we sat on a nice bench overlooking the creek in the back. The shop had tons of different lavender products. A nice way to spend an afternoon.
A friend & I signed up for class to make a fresh herb wreath. What a fun, and educational morning we had!! If you can fit it in , take the class, the wreath wire form is included with the instructions & can be used again & again. Just do it!!
Lavender Fields provides local honey, which may help with Richmond-area allergies (this is folk wisdom, not a medical opinion). They also offer an array of starter vegetables and herbs.
Enjoyed the place. Did a club outing and we had lunch and made living wreaths. Very nice, enjoyable day. Food was interesting as they had lavender ice cream and used other things grown there. Worth a trip.
