The world's largest quarry.
The world's largest quarry.
Very interesting! They offer a film, tour of the processing plant where monuments are made and a bus trip and guided tour of their quarries. Also there suggestion to visit Hop e Cemetery right in town was a good one, a true art form!
Something different to visit in VT - you take a shuttle bus to the top of the quarry where you get a terrific view. The guide provided an interesting talk on the history and current operations of the quarry . You can also walk a platform overlooking the huge factory operations and see monuments being made - note work shift... 更多
If you ever wondered where granite headstones come from, this is the place. A massive factory that has continuous action in every corner of the building. Be sure and watch the video in the gift shop before walking over to the factory building. We did not go on the quarry tour because there wasn't much going on. No charge for... 更多
This is an attraction for the whole family and very interesting . Nice movie and bus takes you up on edge of the quarry to view the operations of removing the granite, Stop at the cemetery at the end of town to see the most interesting monuments ever.
What an amazing place. The talent to cut and shape the beautiful granite that God gave us is a definite God-given talent. We were so amazed at the beautiful headstones and the amazing granite bowling alley constructed in the 1950's (seems like a good idea considering my game). Definitely worth a visit. And the gift shop had a really nice... 更多
The Rock of Ages Granite Quarry and Factory tour was very detailed. It is a good tour for families of all ages. We saw the quarry in full operation.... 更多

We like odd tourist sites like this so we knew we had to stop. Call ahead for exact tour time on the day you plan to visit since their exact tour times don't align with their published times. The only disappointment was there was no work going on at the quarry or factory due to the holiday weekend. The guide... 更多
This was a great side Trip! We were there a few years ago, but too late for the quarrel tour. This time we made It! So interesting, worth the trip. After you can go into their factory to see how they get to the final product.
