This is a fun and interesting museum. There are lots of hands on exhibits, that are fun and educational, for both old and young. I have been here with my young kids, my teen kids, and my mom and married kids. Everyone was having ingredients a good time.
Compact but fascinating. The outside dinosaur exhibition is good for kids but can be very hot in the afternoon. Inside, there are some great interactive displays with fossils and ancient ecosystems as well as some interesting cultural artifacts. Good value for $7 an adult.
I love everything dinosaurs so while on a sister's trip we all went to check out the museum and I'm glad we did. Tons of awesome information and artifacts to look at - knowledge without feeling like you are back in school. Recommend for adults and kids alike.
This museum is very interestingly organized as walking back in time. There is a lot of variation in the displays which keep the young ones fascinated and engaged. Some hands on opportunities also. the models in the gardens are also good for the kids and adults. The Utah Field House is a good introduction to the Dinosaur National Monument.
The museum was neat and kept the interest of all of the adults but besides a few hands on things on the main my kids (ages 2, 4,6,7) were bored pretty quick. Prices are ok...$7 adults, 3.50 seniors, and kids $5 (0-5 are free admission). Wouldn't go back again. The facility was nice and clean.
My son loves dinosaurs, so he spotted this one right away. Has really good exhibits, and a lot of variety. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Much more than I expected in such a small town as Vernal. Surprises tucked in every nook and cranny. Very educational for all age levels. A nice complement to Dinosaur National Monument as the dinosaurs in each are from different periods. This museum is probably more geared to young children than the National Monument.
