This small museum is fun for little kids, it’s not overwhelming but they get to see dinosaur bones and complete skeletons. And it’s free! While you are visiting this museum you can also visit the other museums in the BYU campus, they are all a few driving minutes from each other. You can also get some good ice cream from... 更多
While this is not a huge museum, it is great! I first went for a class, but loved it so much I took my family back at a later date. Even if you are not a dinosaur fan you will love this! My father is a hunter and loved this. Children would love this too!
Turn the corner from the entrance to this museum and an allosaurus is about to eat you. The number of full-sized and complete skeletons they've managed to cram into this small space is truly amazing. Plus you can watch lab work being done through a large window. It's an intimate setting and free. Well worth visiting.

Next time your 8 yr old is with you, go to this museum because they have it all right out in the open so you can see it, handle it, and stick your head in it. Wonderful display of ancient earth history presented in an interesting and educational display.

Really interesting specimen of three early crocodile like animal alone was worth the time. Granted its a rather small exhibit area if pressed for time in the Provo area check out the Thanksgiving Point museum first.
Not having been to Utah before and having some time to kill in Provo, we decided to take in the BYU Museum of Paleontology. We'd never heard of "Dinosaur Jim", but we were impressed when we'd read he'd "amassed over 100 tons of fossils that was temporarily stored under the football stadium." There must have been a lot of it... 更多
