I went here on a day the EcoCenter was closed, but that didn't stop me from taking a walk on the paved path and extending my walk under Highway 80 and up the hill on the north side. In winter, this is a great location for some quiet time in the center of a very busy resort area! You can park in Red Stone and access the trail from many spots along the outskirts of the development. The trail is snow covered in winter and groomed daily. This is a great place for a hike or a snowshoe. The EcoCenter is a great source of information about this preserve. They even rent snowshoes! A great day activity if you're looking for a day off from skiing.
We lived along this Preserve for three years and it's in my dreams and memories and I long to go back.
