I stayed at the Hampton Inn and tried this place the first night. It was a block away and very convenient to walk to. I was alone and so I was seated very promptly. The decorations were first rate, and the place was obviously buzzing even on a Monday night - a good sign. I ordered the Asian Rice Bowl... 更多
4 nice museums for $5? Unbelievable. My favorite is the John M. Browning museum upstairs. For anyone interested in firearms, this unassuming museum has quite a few "holy grails" of firearms displayed, including hand-built prototypes made by Mr. Browning himself. We also enjoyed the cars, the railroad museum and outdoor trains as well. Very nice place to spend $5 and... 更多
My mom suggested a diversion via a commuter train to Ogden (from Draper) for the ride and lunch at Union Station. It sounded great so we...my mom and her husband , my girlfriend and myself...hopped on board and headed out. The ride was relatively quick and the weather fantastic! The station was almost empty but reminded us all of a... 更多
They have a great selection of dishes. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. By the way, when you're there be sure to try their French Onion soup. You'll be hooked!
Our group has visited many railroad museums around the world. On the south side of the station they have positioned a number of western road pieces of rolling stock. Many are Union Pacific including the famous turbine. Some are under a roof for protection, but the ones not are rusting away. The signs do not match the equipment. The tracks... 更多
The Union Station is a really reasonable tourist attraction that really tells the history of Ogden. There is the Railroad Museum, The Ogden Pioneer Rodeo Museum, the John M. Browning Gun Museum, the Car Museum, the Myra Powell Art Gallery and a restaurant inside the Union Station. Outside there is a great display of trains. A fun and interesting place... 更多
We've been to many Union Stations and this one is totally different. It doesn't have shopping and restaurants, but lots of museums. There is a train, cowboy, gun, car and art museum in this location. It is very inexpensive to get in. So if you are in the area I would suggest dropping by for a visit.
Excellent food, great atmosphere, exceptional value. The buffalo wings are amazing and as good as the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. My personal favorite is the Chicken Salad Sandwich. Also the french onion soup is to die for!
