While Waco Zoo may not be the biggest it is certainly one of the nicest. The old days of cages and pens are long gone in this natural habitat zoo down in the woods of Cameron Park!
I took all of my grandchildren to the zoo and one is in a wheelchair. The zoo was completely accessible and everyone was very helpful.
We had such a good time at the Cameron Zoo. It is just the right size for little kids. The way it is laid out you can see multiple animals at once from different locations throughout the park. Giant tortoises, monkeys, elephants, rhinos and the aquarium were our favorites. The only downside was the narrow pathways in some places were... 更多
This zoo is the perfect size for a day out with the family! Every time the kids started to get a little rowdy/fussy/bored we would turn a corner and find something to help them reset. Great flow. Love the play area! Just as we started to get tired, we were at the end and ready for some Blue Bell and... 更多
We had a good time - but had some issues, we were able to secure a wheelchair for me as I have trouble walking distances - I'm grateful for the service - but my chair pulled to the left so badly my 15 y/o daughter had a lot of trouble pushing it and it was virtually the last one available!... 更多
An amazing wonder hidden in Waco, that is the only way I can describe Cameron Park Zoo. I've been a member for years and I remain one even though I have moved away from Waco. Though small the exhibits have interesting animals and some are great in the level of detail and interaction that children and visitors can experience. Outside... 更多
This is a great Zoo. Not overwhelmingly big but not too small. I thought it was a better overall experience then Dallas, Ft. Worth or OKC. My only suggestion is arrive early so that you get good parking. Lots of offsite parking with a shuttle but still inconvenient. Lots of bathrooms and snack stops makes it very kid friendly. No... 更多
An absolute treasure and a must see venue in the heart of Waco. We were in awe of the lushly landscaped grounds, the thoughtfulness and care for the animals' habitats, both where they are seen by the public and in the more clinical behind the scenes areas. An astounding variety of animals. Well planned, manageable layout.
