This park is a perfect example of how to integrate a green area to make life better for the surrounding residents and visitors. Unless you're a hardcore extreme sport fanatic looking for a place no one's ever been before, there's a little something for most everyone including fishing, hiking, bike riding, dog walking, horseback riding, ball fields and trails and... 更多
The first time I went to the park to gather INTEL for blading, there was a HUGE triathalon happening. Imagine the restrictions...and it was not a problem at all. This preserve is large with a myriad of trails and services so that there is something for everyone. Easy access parking for playground, restroom facilities, shelter for young families and those... 更多
This is a very nice trail system through wooded and shaded area. It makes for great hike even in July. Be aware that the trail system on the left and right side of the creek on not directly connected. You would have to go to one or the other end of the trail system to get across. We ended up... 更多
We attended a wedding here so we used the area around the main building which was very clean, newer looking, and nicely landscaped. We had a wedding on a hill sloping behind the facility and a very nice scenic backdrop with the lake and walking/bike trail. The building we used for the reception was very nice and served our purposes... 更多
I gave Oak Point 5 stars not because it's the greatest hiking in the world, but instead because of its location. Close to 75, Oak Point is the best hiking experience you're going to find in North DFW. There are several miles of trails through the woods and several additional miles of paved trails that allow cycling as well. If... 更多
This was a nice addition to the park system in Plano. It has nice cement trails for biking, has dirt trails for hiking, and now even has a zipline course.
Quiet, scenic, and full of path choices. You may walk around the pond and park on a paved sidewalk or be adventures and take the wooden paths that cross cut the area. The new visitor center is a beauty as well and provides vending machines and indoor restrooms. If you feel adventures, and you are 10 or over, there is... 更多
Oak Point Nature Preserve is just that, a preserve. There are extensive trails that wind through a wooded area with a creek, you just have to be careful not to get lost. There's a small pavilion that can be used for a picnic area and a large lake to walk around. Great way to experience North Texas nature without having... 更多
Several paths and trails at this park offer a way to experience Texas nature and wildlife. There are several bike and walking trails that connect to several other trails.
This is a beautiful where I come running, jogging and hiking all the times. The trails are in good condition and connected to Bob Woodruff Park. The nice beautiful lake also has a place where people can go hang out and fish. So far this is my favorite park in Plano.
