This is well worth the time to visit. In the summer months, come early before the sun really heats things up. Once you start down the trail and stop at the lookouts and read the descriptions of the wildlife and plants and trees, you will forget that you are in Midland.

So. Visiting in March may be a little early, but it was still a great escape from the I-20 grind! The part of the trail along the freeway is loud, but the rest of the walk is worth it. There are many bird blinds and board walks! There are bird feeding stations. My visit included seeing several types of warblers,... 更多
A tranquil walk (about 1.5m) through local nature right outside town. A great spot to get away and birdwatch or just relax. My toddler loved it.

The board walkways allow you to get out over the water and get up close to some of the water fowl that inhabit the... 更多
