The heavy rains have 'cleaned' the storm drains and arroyos carrying the cut (see the ends) bamboo/cane down to the sea - the beach is covered with it. The council are doing a great job of cleaning up, there a piles of bamboo, all the beaches.
This is an excellent beach, worth visiting from anywhere in Malaga and easily accessed by train with the station across the road. Plenty of restaurants and bars as well as good swimming although the sand on this part of the coast can be gravelly.
A beautiful beach with several good bars, restaurants and cafes along it's front. These are popular with locals rather than just Brits.
There is an adequate number of beds to hire (although we stayed on the beach using just towels and a sun shade). The beach is very clean and appears to be maintained every day early in the morning....
