Transformed into a national museum, accommodations first received outcasts, then slaves and finally settlers (in addition to English, many Portuguese) you can see the strong, them, the Commissioner of the house is much the story of an isolated island in the Atlantic that it is an overseas British territory! In addition to the Dolphin Quest experience, this is a great place to spend several hours exploring the historical significance of this area and Bermuda in general. Wonderful exhibits and helpful staff.
Second visit for me, first for my husband. Takes about 2 to 4 hours depending on your preferences. You wander at your own pace, but make sure you close the gate so the sheep don't wander! Kid friendly, nice to do if weather isn't beach perfect. Dolphin experience is on the grounds as well!
Check out the mural which documents the history of Bermuda and the coin room. The views from the balconies are awesome. This is a quiet place to get away from the crowds coming off the cruise ships
You will first be greeted by a very pleasant and informative person that will give you a map so you can take your time and enjoy every aspect of the grounds and museum.
