A well-spent dollar (per person) for a look around some artefacts giving a feel for what life was like around the time of oil being found here. Worth a stop if you're travelling along I-10.
We like to visit local museums (when they are open) to get a feeling of the local culture and interests. This museum did a good job of explaining the history of oil discoveries and the equipment and labor required to extract. It was worth our time. $2 donation requested.
A great display of what this industry did for the area.Take some time to look around the sleepy town and go back in time. (they accept donations)
