Not much happens in Luckenbach ... at least no one is telling. It is a quaint little stop just to say you've been there! Plenty of cold drinks, funnel cake and photos.
It's like stepping back in time... Great atmosphere in this tiny cowboy settlement. Bar & store really interesting and with live music makes you just want to hang about all day.
What a great trip! We drove from Austin just to go to Luckenbach, sit under the cottonwoods, drink a cold beer and listen to locals play their music. It was awesome. Definitely a worthwhile trip. We even bought some souvenirs.
We were leaving Fredericksburg for San Antonio and decided to stop by. There's not much to it, but we enjoyed visiting. There were nice, new restrooms, a general store, dance hall, bar, and a main stage from what we saw. It was neat to see all of the pictures and history of the place. It was tough trying to find... 更多
Visited Luckenbach (population 3 by the way) and if you blink you will drive right past. The general store was interesting with all kinds of souvenirs and a bar attached in the back. The dance hall is right beside and the bathrooms and AWESOME! Bought tee shirts here and the people are extremely nice.
I have been here four times in my life. It is special to me because my family is originally named Luckenbach. Not a whole lot here unless you go at night. All big Country stars make it a point to come here. Even so it will be great if i make it to see an up and comer!
This is my second visit here in the past six years. That's too long in between visits. This tiny town (population 3) is a great place to come to. Local musicians play for tips must every day and bigger name performers play mostly on the weekends. Luckenbach is part store, part bar and all Texas should be...fun. The general store... 更多

It was established as a community trading post, one a few that never broke a peace treaty with the Comanche Indians, with whom they traded. The area is... 更多
