Great place to go with the family. You get a chance to see the battleship and learn about its history. You can also take wonderful pics. The have a small snack bar with great food at great prices.

I'm sorry to say that my experience at Battleship Texas was not good. The history of the ship is intriguing and it was fun to walk on deck. To be honest, I thought that as a museum site it was not well maintained. For example: we cut our time short there because we kept running into wasp nests. We took... 更多

Rare sight of a battle ship. You can see the entire ship from inside out. Its a really hot in the basement of the ship. try and go on a spring or fall day when the temperature is not too hot.

This battle ship made it thru two world wars, and the vintage of this ship (1911) is very visible. The technology is simple, the lay-out of the ship is spacious compared to WW2 designs. One piece of information is crucial. The ship was saved from being a practice target by the Texans. Fantastic action, and a very appropriate one. It... 更多

Went here while visiting the area. Very informative site. I feel that they did a very good job allowing visitors access to all areas of the ship and the signage was very good. Saw several good films about the ship and what its contributions to the wars were. It is not an attraction that is good for anyone with mobility... 更多

It is very interactive I love that you can go at your own pace and there is so much to see and enough education without being overwhelming. I would definitely go back.

This ship has some history! During WWI it was the most modern battleship of its time, and during WWII it served in North Africa, Normandy, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. The ship is a bit rustic, and the restoration project is ongoing. However, you get a really good feel of the ship's history, complemented by the amount of information found throughout... 更多

For how old this ship is, with the limited resources the Texas Parks Department has for maintenance, I thought the ship was in great condition. Furthermore, there were active restoration projects in the works when I was there. Two key things to note: 1. The stairs to traverse the different levels are incredibly steep and the footing quite small. This... 更多

You take a trip back in history, when you walk aboard the Battle Ship Texas, which served in both World Wars. Bring your hiking shoes, though as there is a lot of climbing from one deck to the next, but very much worth the exercise. The ship also offers sleep overs.
