Neat place with nice people. A great place for outdoor learning and helping folks understand our region's ecology. Nice facility, with a trail head for the River Trail. Definitely worth putting on your list!
Like that it gives you a history about water in the area, common plant and animal species. Great garden to walk through to get ideas for the yard when you want to keep things natural and water wise.
The walk through the grounds takes less than an hour and has a nice variety. The center has a number of fun and informative exhibits in a compact space. My only complaint is that the labels for the flowers outside are a bit off which is not unexpected for a meadow, but then why have them at all.
Nice little nature center along the Guadeloupe River in Kerrville with direct access to the Kerrville River Trail. Friendly staff to help you during your visit. Great place for children.
Saturday and Sunday they have very short hours. The trail that leaves from here is a beautiful and we'll maintained walking/biking trail. Half mile markers and some benches along trails.
This is a small place and it will only take you a short amount of time to walk through. My daughter likes it, and there are some neat things to look at. The staff are extremely nice and informative. A fun and free activity. Exhibits on native plants and animals were informative. It is connected to a three + mile walk.

The Center's main building houses very well done nature and historical exhibits. if you have any questions, the staff is knowledgable and quite friendly. Laid back, peaceful and serene, you will... 更多
Enjoyed walking along the paved nature trail. Free parking. Lots of native plants and trees. Enjoyed seeing the Guadalupe River. It was very hot and humid the day I was there...wish I would have come in the morning.
