This place never ceases to amaze me with the professionalism of its performances. It is amazing a small town such as this can pull this off. Each show is a delight.
Enjoyed the play "1776". Nicely restored theater that now has live plays. Refreshments and snacks available. Might be hard to handle if handicapped but you can call ahead to make arrangements. They do have hearing impaired tie in with your cell phone. A nice evening watching a great play.
We go to this theater 3 / 4 times a year. If you like small theater that gives you entertainment at a good place, this is the place to go. Great venue with good restaurant right next door. Great for adult date night.

One of Georgetown's best features - a real showcase of talent. Well-produced traditional favorites with dedicated local talent. A real bargain in a small-own setting.
We have been attending productions here for many years. Recently , the quality seems to be slipping. For example, the current show, "42nd Street" is poorly cast (but overly fed) for the parts and amateurish, especially in the first act.
The Palace Theater on the Square in Georgetown is a thoroughly rejuvinated space with first class productions and moderate prices. The casts are mostly local and unpaid -- they do it for love and experience. A small theater so all seats are good, the productions seem to get better for every show. Highly recommended for a great small theater experience.... 更多
The talent that can be seen on the stage of the Palace Theater is incredible. Over and over as we see their productions, we are astounded at the things that can be accomplished on a small stage. They never fail to amaze.
