We walked through the first floor and the second floor and it was filled with very contemporary art. They also have children programs and jewelry making for those that either live on the Island or visiting for awhile in order to participate. We spent about 10-15 minutes during our visit.
We checked the website and found a jewelry class in Saturday. For $15 they provided all the supplies to make a rope knot necklace. The leader was very helpful. The gallery was small but the art exhibited was interesting. They also had a small gift shop that looked interesting but we didn't look.
Took some of mom's earlier work down to the Center, Market street is down town about 8 blocks from Cruise ship docks.
As you walk around the downtown or Strand area there are signs as to events, older buildings, and markers about storms.
