Our family visited Stewart Beach on a recent weekend trip to Galveston. There were a fair number of people there, but it didn't feel overly crowded. It's hard to not like a beach, but when you are expecting sand and get hard-pack dirt, it's a little bit of a disappointment. Fun to watch all the ships lined up on the horizon coming and going.

I was told take my dogs running here. Omg the liter all over the place. Trash bins full and parking lot with broken bottle. It was mid week mind you abd not the weekend. Never go back
This is a nice beach and if your handicapped you get in free and have a nice place to drive down and be on the beach in your car. There are plenty of free beaches as well.

Restrooms were clean, showers inside and outside available, convenient! Snowcone vendor walked around, food available within walking distance. Pay to park, $13/ weekends and $12/ weekdays. Beach was maintained, a little busy on... 更多

First, they charge $15 to park, which is a pretty high access fee for what is essentially an unmaintained natural site. Second, we rented an umbrella and chairs, which were also steep at $30 for the day. Then was incredibly frustrated at... 更多
