I can't imagine how cramped it would be to sail from England to South America on the Elissa; however, no imagination is necessary. You can see for yourself. The ship is kept in pristine condition. Great opportunities to take artsy photos of the rigging, ETC. It will be a significant challenge for anyone with trouble taking steep stairs or with... 更多
My husband the history buff loved this. It's a quick little museum and a walk on to and through the ship. It doesn't take long and it's kind of pricey at $12 for adults.
The Elissa is a work of love from the many volunteers who make it a sailing treasure. It is a must see tourist attraction in Galveston take your kids and grandkids to see it.

A very fun, well cared for piece of history. We did the harbor tour, booked through the museum desk, and that was fun as well. Highly recommend for anyone,... 更多
You don't see boats like this often. They take great pride in their ship and its fun to learn about how life on this ship was.
