I was impressed. EASY to navigate around, good signage (unlike the airport...), 4 or more hotels within 2-3 blocks. CLEAN, well lit. Concessions were pricey...
The convention center is dated but nice enough and very large. The parking is best behind the facility in the city lot which is very reasonable. The staff, during our event, was very kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. There is a lot to do downtown so go explore and have fun. The area is clean and appears to be rather safe... 更多
Everything was top notch. The trash was always empty and bathrooms stocked. The building design was so unique that every space was different. Many doors to enter. Many hotels located around it. Plus you have a beautiful Water Gardens area too.
The Convention Center has a large area for exhibitors, many ballrooms and smaller rooms used for breakout sessions. It is within walking distance of many hotels, restaurants, Sundance Square. There are parking garages and open lots surrounding the Convention Center. Very good place for attending or hosting conferences.
I can't begin to count the number of times I've been here for events. For concerts, Oktoberfest, shows, etc... The structure may have aged, but the venue is timeless. The location downtown is ideal. The only problem is the parking and how far you may end up walking if you have to park too far away.
We enjoyed a 2 day seminar at this facility. It was clean and comfortable. If you want snacks or drinks from the concession stand, think twice. They charge $3.50 for a 20oz soda, plus a bag of chips totalled over $6.00.
Been to many conventions here. It is better than Dallas because it is easier to park, walk and enjoy. VERY close to hotels like Omni, Hilton, Embassy, etc. Ft Worth is not all uptight like Dallas is for streets and traffic. They don't abuse the parking prices. Tons of food is very close!
