We went today for Museum Day since it was free. Based on my experience, I wouldn't pay to visit the museum and I have no desire to return in the future as I think I've gotten everything out of the museum that I will get. There were several exhibits that were missing (a huge blank space in the Featured Exhibit... 更多
Went on a Smithsonian Free Day and even then it wasn’t worth the price. They only have 1 plane (a DC-9) and not much else; a small 9/11 Memorial, the history of American Airlines and some small plane models. There is short movie that is OK however they got their physics wrong plus their history is not that accurate either.... 更多
If you are looking for an aviation museum with a wide variety of aircraft, this isn't it. It is, however, the fascinating history of American Airlines done really well. The story is told through the use of photos, models and other interesting artifacts of the founding and history of the airline. I was especially interested in the display of stewardess... 更多
We were invited to a private function at the museum and it was absolutely incredible. The museum is informative and interesting, providing a view into the history of aviation. We especially loved the collection of uniforms throughout the years. Being able to go into the DC3 and see it from every angle was inspiring. To top off the evening we... 更多
I had an absolute wonderful time at the museum today! I had a day to kill before checking in to my hotel and I assumed why not check it out. SO GLAD I DID. The museum offers history and fun things for all ages. The DC-3 Flagship Knoxville is on display and is absolutely lovely!! I recommend anyone who enjoys... 更多
This is a fun museum on the history of American Airlines. They have an interesting film, artifacts and a DC-3 on display which you can climb into for a photo op. Very informative! Educational and interesting, it makes for a great field trip.
I have to admit I didn't have high expectations for this museum. However I was blown away. This was so interesting! We watched a show about the history of flying and AA. It was well done. Although you have to pay to enter the cost was not expensive like other places. I would highly recommend this place.
While visiting family in Crowley Texas we went with daughter and grandson to the museum. My daughter is a proud employee with AmericanAirlines and was excited for us to see the museum. There is a movie overview, a full size plane, examples of jet engines and even uniforms to view. If you have a few hours at DFW while waiting... 更多
Wonderful movie about AA to start of the visit, must see for Avgeeks :) Also quite interesting is the status of the current American Airlines and the videos about its daily operations. Makes you enjoy the next (AA) flight way more
