This is quite a way out of town, for obvious reasons, and there isn't much here. But hey, its free. There's an interesting little cafe though.
We loved seeing the space gear & moon rock! Kids loved having their photos taken in a space suit. Lunch at the cafe was nice with great views of "The Dish".
To be honest, I was a little disappointed with this attraction, although the displays were interesting. The show of astronaut meals was quite good, and the presentation to a school group, which we joined, was good, especially the videos of sunspots, and other phenomena on the sun's surface. We came here with our 3 teens (2 girls, 1 boy) all of whom were firstly very interested to see the huge dishes outside - very picturesquely placed and photogenic!
