The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is a must on your "bucket list". As we arrived at the museum we were met by Chris and Janet and they gave us a quick overview of what we were going to see. The museum is organized as a chronological trip through history - it's not political - it's a lesson on... 更多
This is really an amazing museum for its size. I have taken many visitors there and have visited myself several times. The special exhibits add a new touch on a regular basis. In general, the museum provides insights on George Bush Senior's life and political career in a very engaging way that is accessible for a general (even international audience).... 更多
We really enjoyed this museum. It was easy to find and the presentations were wonderfully displayed. Again, all gifts from other countries were presented with the caption, "Given to the American People by....." I really felt honored that we (the American People) were presented with the gifts shown. I LOVED the fact that while it was the George Bush Presidential... 更多
A nice exhibit with a section & scavenger hunt for kids. Includes a car, plane, boat, "oval office," and a play house kids can go in. Lots of interesting gifts from around the world.
What a treasure this place is! One of the reasons we traveled to the Dallas area was to see the George W. Bush Presidential Library and we were not disappointed . We took our grandson who is attending Texas Christian College in Ft Worth and he loved it too. The diorama continually playing around the ceiling was amazing. The library... 更多
We love historic places, and yes, one should see this museum. But compared to other Presidential Libraries--particularly Clinton's library--the George Bush Presidential Library had very little content. I left wondering 'What exactly did he do while in office other than wage war?' (There was a peculiar Desert Storm 'bunker'.) Exhibits included walls and walls of his family pedigree. It was... 更多
We have been to 4 presidential museums (Reagan, W, LBJ - the others) and this one rates 2nd to Reagan's. It was a wonderful museum. Well laid out, lots of photos and artifacts and information galore. We entered knowing a lot about 41's life and presidency, but never could have imagined all we would have learned. As you walk through... 更多
We have been to most of the presidential museum/libraries - this compared favorably. Inspiring story, beautiful setting, staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful wildflowers this time of year.
Perhaps the collection of papers and historical documents justifies this attraction but the exhibits left me unimpressed. Firstly, there was a lot (rooms full) of promotion for Texas A&M and the Forestry Service. Noble endeavors, I'm sure, but not relevant to Bush 41. The historical exhibits had the feel of a high school civics project rather than a professional, museum-quality,... 更多
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is an excellent place to visit. The grounds are beautiful and have some lovely flowers, gazebo, and pond behind the museum where I've attended a wedding and also taken my own bridal portraits. I have also taken several groups of elementary school students on field trips to the museum and the exhibits and... 更多
The museum may take 3-4 hours of visit time. There are various displays and video about life of President George Bush and his family. All the staff are friendly and resourceful.
I visited the Bush (41) Museum along with my parents, who are retired. This was a birthday celebration for my mother and me (our birthdays are less than a week apart). We arrived at the museum early in the day, watched the movie first, and took our time walking through the exhibits. We stopped after 1 p.m. to have lunch... 更多
