you can go swimming, boating and fishing. It is a good place to go for the day or to camp at. They have trails for walking and you can see wildlife.
Cleburne State Park is a lovely little state Park nestled away near the hill country of northern Texas. When we first got to the park we were VERY impressed. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The trails were great and the lake was beautiful. As you drive up to the park you are wondering what you are getting yourself into, but as you get around by the lake it gives way into a really pretty area. Lots of trees. Small lake for fishing. Cleburne State Park has never been prettier. The recent rains have made all of nature just pop. He lake is more than full. The waterfall is beautiful. Go now before the hot Texas summer turns the grass from bright green to brown. Take the deep woods off if you plan to hike.
