My friend actually rents a booth here, so I go with her to Boerne every couple of weeks. I always find something in the booths that I have to have, whether it is old or newer vintage home accents. I love the smell of the "secret recipe" pickles that you can purchase here. There's a big bowl of the spicy/sweet... 更多
Good selection but my browsing was cut short when I overheard a customer ask a price on an item and the clerk told him that that particular person who owned that item was out of town and unavailable. He thanked the clerk and she told him that she could set it aside. He quietly chuckled and told her no thank... 更多
I think the antiques are more an afterthought than they once were. The main focus seems to be on the family made pickles. I find the smell of the pickles & vinegar intoxicating, but I make pickles at home so I'm a fan. If you're looking for antiques, the selection is slim. But if you love pickles, pop in and... 更多
I found the name of the store interesting, but the smell of pickles is what drew me in. The pickles were delicious!!! I also liked the other items in the store that were antiques. The saleswoman was very friendly and knowledgeable about her pickles.
If you're eve.r in Boerne (Texas, that is), you have to stop by Fickle Pickles. You've never had pickles like these. It's a must stop whenever we have guests in town. Almost everyone grabs a jar to take home. The pickles are great by themselves or used in potato salad, deviled eggs, or a dirty martini. Makes everything more special.... 更多
It was rather warm the day we were there and no ad, but it didn't keep us from finding several must haves. We also bought some of their pickles. They have a bit of a bite, but oh so good.
They do have the best pickles although expensive. The rest of the place doesn't offer much as far as antiques, and/or décor. They have a place in Bandera also. They are very friendly though.
Boerne is a great little town northwest of San Antonio...fill with wonderful shops. Fickle Pickles Antiques and Pickles is one of these shops. Besides having a great collection of antiques to examine, the owners also produce the best pickles you will ever eat. The staff is provides a Texas Welcome to the store and the sample pickles are there for... 更多
Stopped into the store after reading online reviews since we were in the area casually looking at antiques. They offer free samples of their pickles, regular and spicy. We really enjoyed them, they are sweet, both regular and spicy. We bought a few jars for ourself and as gifts for family. We would recommend!
These pickles are like none you have ever tasted. They are made right there in Boerne, and the owner Lisa is the daughter of the lady who came up with the recipe. I enjoy them almost every day. Free samples are available in the Fickle Pickle store.
