While on a camping trip to beautiful -- must see! -- Tim's Ford State Park, I stopped by Hammer's just for fun; it looked like a neat little rural general store where I might pick up a thing or two. I ended up leaving with new gloves, insulated underwear, a jacket, pajamas, and various other items that were a steal!...
My two little boys loved this store. They had some great toys and we had fun looking at everything. They have all kinds of things there from rugs to work gloves to tap shoes. We will visit again if we are in the area.
The original Hammrrs on the square was a favorite of everyone in Franklin County. The new store which is in the old Walmart lacks character lighting and shopability. It is cold and it is not enjoyable to shop there. I used to love to go there and get my liberty coveralls, hardware, rugs, and household goods. Not so much anymore.
He has some stuff you cant find anywhere else. lots of room to wander around.
you dont know what you will find at Hammers. been around a long long time.
friendly people..... great town to visit. always stop at Hammers
