This is not far off the main road and you can still drive over it. A great piece of history that has been maintained by the community. Well done
This a cool little attraction for history buffs. It's amazing that it still stands, but that just shows how well buildings used to be made. Came upon this by accident, one day.
Such a great piece of history !!! So glad we found this !!!! Very interesting piece of Sevierville History ... room to part and walk over the bridge... or drive over .. ( get out and take pics !! ) so pretty !!!
The Harrisburg Covered Bridge is tucked away off the beaten path. Almost like someone is trying to protect this piece of history from the real world. The bridge is very well preserved and still open to local traffic. It crosses a small stream in Sevier County, just off of US411.
We quickly went by this covered bridge after our Llama hiking experience. It was SO beautiful and quaint with just the right amount of old feel to make it a worthy detour off the main path.
A bridge that is covered. It's cute but it's in the middle of a "neighborhood" street. There is one small area near the bridge where 2 cars can park to come out and take pics.
This was not too difficult to find but parking was at a premium. Be careful getting out on the active roads to take photos and see the views over the sides.
