My wife and I were in awe of the trek that many Indians from all over the country made to come to this area. stay for a while and read and view the exhibits in the museum then walk the foot trail..a must do!
I walk the trails here weekly and it's always well maintained. The museum and plaques posted around the mounds are full of information regarding the historical aspect of the area. They have a nice picnic area with a newer, up to date play area for the kids.

The rest of the area has some other smaller mounds. Everything is covered with trees so it is not as visually arresting as it could be. However, the key to appreciating this... 更多

I went to Pinson Mounds with a friend to bike on the trail. We were happily surprised by the well-kept walking/biking trails and the informative little museum. I would recommend Pinson Mounds to everybody. It's a great family outing as well as a nice place to go on a walk with friends.
