We viewed the park from Shelby Bridge and from the George Jones Rooftop Bar. It looked really lovely, at one time there seemed to be a concert on at the time.
Nashville really does have a cute downtown where they have done a lot to bring people/tourists down there. The river front is just another place to enjoy their downtown.
Good place to see.. you've cumberland river flowing through it and stadium opposite to it.... We went multiple times.. During Independence Day - it was of full CROWDED :) Fireworks display was happening in that full crowd :) You'll love if you get a spot there in the Riverfront Park .. Go early :)
Very nice park,- I picked up my ticket and trolley tour (Gray Line) there. Very close to the Broadway area, too.
Nothing to it...especially since it was blocked off due to construction. If I could say something positive it would be there is a little stream of water, nothing impressive. As a matter of fact I was not impressive with the whole downtown, I guess you have to be into country music to appreciate the town.
Are you kidding me? Free concert with Sheryl Crow and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, the biggest and best fireworks show in the nation, and the incredibly nice, well mannered people, all 300,000 of the visitors. We love Nashville, and the people, and this park.
Need to rethink how to get to food/drinks and they people coming and going from the park - it's jammed up and crazy busy! Maybe put the food/drink along the sides, not at the back? Great view of the river while enjoying music!
