We read a newspaper article saying February was a good time to visit the Blue Lotus Water Garden so did the drive to the Yarra Valley specifically to see the gardens. They were definitely worth the trip. The location is easy to find, the staff were very welcoming and the gardens themselves are almost overwhelming. Everywhere you look there are... 更多
This is beautiful lotus garden we visited on our way to Warburton. You can spend a couple of hours wandering around this beautiful place, which seems to help create a calmness and serenity to our otherwise busy lives. There is also a little fairy garden which the children would love, even my very grown up sister was excited! Did not... 更多
Had no idea this existed until the Hotel owner alerted us. So off we went - what an amazing couple of hours! Glorious blooms, lots of information. Recommended for gardeners and those who just love beauty and colour. Beautiful. Only open Dec to Feb due to the nature of the water lilies and lotus plants. A fellow visitor told me... 更多
I went out to visit the gardens for the first time yesterday afternoon. We three friends had heard the ads. about the gardens on the radio and wanted to explore. On the way there we passed through interesting places like Launching Place and Seville but we didn't have enough time to stop and explore. On arrival at the gardens there... 更多
A lovely garden and surrounds. The lotus' and waterlilies are superb... going on a sunnier day may see more blooms out. The cafe was a little disappointing with it's service, however. There are formal places for byo BBQs and picnic tables..(may need to book these during peak times) and some quaint private spots for picnics.
Have passed the gates of this garden many times as I live in the area. Had no idea how extensive and amazing this place is. Whilst you are there you feel as if you have been transported to a tropical paradise. Definitely worth a visit for garden lovers.
A group of us (6 ladies) had a lovely day out admiring the beautiful water lilies and stunning Lotus flowers. I was amazed at the size of the garden. It isn't the cheapest garden that I've visited but worth the entry fee. It was drizzling when we arrived so we started with a coffee in the cafe. We easily spent... 更多
I am constantly amazed by other peoples vision and patience. 4 acres of ponds, lakes delightful oriental style bridges and pathways that lead you from one breathtaking mass of Lotus and Lilies to another. Claude Monet would have been envious of the masses of blooms, structures, textures and the colours of flowers and foliage. Having wandered around the gardens and... 更多
Went to the gardens on 10th Feb. 2017 with friends who had been before. A wonderful place to have a very enjoyable day and enjoy what has been achieved and enjoy everything the garden has to offer. However the day was spoiled by having lunch at the cafe. The service was terrible the waitress we had was hopeless and the... 更多
This place is lovely. You can eat at the café or bring your own picnic. There are plenty picnic tables and they all have a great view. There is a wide variety of lotus' to look at. Bring the kids along as there is a fairy garden which is very cute. Definitely worth the entering fee! Make sure you come... 更多
