The gardens are nicely landscaped with many different rooms in a relatively small area. Points of interest most of the year though can be a little bare in winter. I mainly visit for the nursery.
We were going to Seasons Restaurant for lunch and took the opportunity to have a look around the gardens. In full Spring through to Autumn would be the best time to visit although the Rhododendrons and Magnolias were in bloom, plus the daffodils and Grape Hyacinths, so it wasn't a blank canvas. Unfortunately a couple of areas of the garden... 更多
This attraction is just down the road from Olinda and I thought it was well worth a visit on the day that I went to The Cuckoo for Christmas in July. I did not allow enough time in the morning to see all the gardens but I was able to go back in the afternoon and spend another couple of... 更多
The nursery and store was nice and had a variety of plants, but don't pay to go into the gardens during the winter months. I wasn't going to, but the ladies at the counter said that there are still things to see. There wasn't. They shouldn't charge people $10 to visit in the winter. Make it discounted or open the... 更多
Sitting inside the cafe or outside on the verandah you can relax and enjoy the garden view. Nice food, good coffee and friendly service ... I also often get inspired by walking through the nursery. Taking home some ideas for my own garden :)
We visited Cloudehill Gardens in Winter and appreciate that most gardens are not at their best at this time of year. However this garden in winter has very little foliage and even fewer flowers. I appreciate that many deciduous trees and shrubs losing their leaves is the natural cycle of seasons. But apart from the deciduous specimens looking stark, annuals... 更多
Cloudehill Gardens and surrounds are without a doubt the most picturesque place I have ever visited. Easily accessible, helpful Staff and the most beautiful setting imaginable. Very well maintained with an enormous variety of plant species and wildlife. For anyone interested in seeing lyrebirds close-up this place is a must. I went there three times in as many days. I... 更多
While we visited in June, when the deciduous trees were bare and many of the bulbs hadn't even started to shoot it was still a wonderful experience. We got to enjoy "the backbones" of the garden, the bare trees, full viewing of the dry stone walls and more of the structures of the garden. We plan to visit again in... 更多
