We wanted something to do in Anglesey when the weather wasn't great and this looked like a thing to try. We arrived at the car park, and as the other reviewers noted, you wouldn't think you were that close to a nature reserve, but. Don't worry, you'll soon spot the entrance on the far side of the car park. The... 更多
We were a bit disappointed when we arrived at a pay-and-display car-park, as nature parks are usually non-commercial. However, £1.50 isn't much for 2 hours, and we enjoyed our 1.5 mile walk through the woodland trail to the dam at Cefni reservoir, where were stopped to try to photograph a grasshopper warbler amongst the wild flowers (to no-avail). Also didnt... 更多
Well worth a visit. Some lovely different carved chairs. The boardwalk is well maintained. A beautiful relaxing place to view wildlife. There are supposed to be red squirrels here, but I wasn't lucky enough to see any.
Lovely ancient woodland. Enjoyed the board walk and the scenery is stunning. Saw Mayflies, Dragonflies, heard lots of songbirds and saw a buzzard overhead. Enjoyed our picnic near the stream....beautiful yellow flag irises everywhere and lots of wild flowers to enjoy. Very peaceful. Lots of dog walkers but not an issue. A lovely area to visit. The reservoir area was... 更多
Found this walk through a nature reserve by chance. Very pleasant half hour walking the circular route. Good for less able-bodied or wheelchair users as there are no steps and the boardwalk is accessible.
Went to Llangefni to visit Oriel Ynys Mon and decided to go for a walk at the Single on the way. It is lovely. Long wooden boardwalks that are easy to access with a pram and let you access a peaceful forest and river area. It is carpeted with gorgeous bluebells and wood anemone at the moment - a sea... 更多
We visited The Dingle Nature Reserve in early March 2016, a beautiful sunny morning, if a little chilly. Sadly we did not spot any Red Squirrels (this time), I would like to revisit during the autumn as I imagine the scenery would be spectacular with the autumnal colours. We took the boardwalk which joined the path to Llyn Cefni. The... 更多
As I live within walking distance of the dingle, I feel its only fair I write review. Over the years the walkways here have been improved. Although some of the board walkways are starting to deteriorate. Great for anyone who wants to get there fitness levels up as the path goes on for miles and you can reach the reservoir... 更多
Hidden away behind Asda, the Dingle isn't what you would expect to find. Passing through the dragonfly sculpture, we took the Boardwalk through the woods and enjoyed looking for the elusive red squirrel. Eventually one was spotted from a distance - not an easy feat with a noisy 4 year old in tow. There's not an awful lot "to do"... 更多
