Stopped in Amlwch as part of an Anglesey north tour. I had previously been to Amlwch due to work in the village centre a few years back. The history that this centre tells is a revelation to me, and I have lived close to Anglesey (Ynys Mon) all my life. Very interesting and well laid out museum dealing with the history of the port and the local copper mines. The café is excellent with good food and extremely pleasant staff.

Nice food, good service, quick and tasty meals. Take credit cards. Cakes were really good. Like the museum as well. Can sit outside when not windy.

We visited just after opening at 10.30 looking for breakfast, sadly they don't do a cooked breakfast. We had paninis with hot drinks and a toasted teacake. The paninis came with a mixed salad and whilst they were ok felt were expensive. The cafe was lovely and clean staff welcoming and friendly
