The country park is lovely for walks through the woodland. There is a stream that is very pretty. There are lots of bird to see and the cafe/restaurant is very good value for money if you want something to eat. Its nice to take a picnic on a dry warm day. There is a lovely pub over the road called... 更多
Lovely place, particularly for walkers. Nice view's, nice outside area in summer. Menu is a little bit pricey but the food is nice, also not much choice. Nice atmosphere.
I would give the park and visitor centre a glowing 5/5 Car parking is reasonably priced - £2 for 4 hours was long enough to do a good long walk, 6km there and back along devils gorge and beyond, then a walk above the limestone cliffs (some very steep steps involved) Intermittent views across the vale towards Moel Famau. Great... 更多
Cafe is very good but slightly over priced. Only slightly. The Welsh rarebit is excellent and the coffee nice. Devils gorge is a nice walk along the river and through the woods. Above all one of my favourite afternoon destinations only to be avoided on a bank holiday and very heavy rain (the river path gets clogged)
Lovely long walk with the dogs and husband. Can't believe it's such a short drive from home! Only negative is there isn't enough bins to dispose rubbish/doggy business other than that fantastic place and will be visiting on a regular business
We visited Loggerheads with our two small children and loved the scenery and peacefulness. Our daughter liked to paddle in the stream and our son enjoyed throwing a few stones too. All in all a lovely place to go for a walk/run/ride.
Went with a groupon voucher, the waitress wasn't that happy about it. The rest of the waitresses were nice. Had roast dinner, beef wasnt very lean and quite hard to cut. Won't be going back.
Have been here on a few occasions usually bird watching with my husband. Have taken grandchildren when they were younger and they liked to paddle (in wellies) in the river
Ideal for a short walk along a river, with good paths and clearly signposted routes. Little cafe at the start/end, which is nice enough. Loads of parking, but gets busy at weekends and school holidays.
Lovely visitor centre and facilities including displays and cafe. Near a river which has footpath alongside so if u have a pet can get wet and muddy. Nice place to go for a stroll. Lots to do too for more adventurous as plenty of walks in the area that are more challenging
