No boats on the boating lake, pitch & putt has gone, generally run down..and no public toilets as far as I could see. Play area for toddlers (our grandchild) was well appointed though.

We take the kids here a bit, there is a slide in the pool that they love to use. We go to the leisure centre for the exercise classes. Great sports centre all round with loads of activities like the skate park and boating lake.

Stayed in cottage close to park used the open space for footy with our two grandsons to burn off that energy! We also used the swimming pool, which was really enjoyable.
As a local ive been to the park countless times, and every time something seems to be in need of repair or rubbish is across the floor. There is plenty to do on a sunny day but a tidy up is in order
great day out plenty for children to do whatever there ages.weather permitting picnic after swimming.plenty of space to let off steam plus soft play area for younger children
