Great service and Food. My husband and I shared the BBQ platter and got a generous portion of bbq, pulled pork, gumbo, potatoes, slaw. It was pretty good and so were the drinks. Enjoyed their blues music band also.
Touring Beale street we stopped for lunch after seeing a Trip Advisor emblem in the window. They weren't too busy. Ordered the Mardi Gras Pasta and the Palace burger. The medium burger was lightly pink in the middle, the way I like and the pasta had shrimp, chicken and crayfish with a touch of spice. The food was good, fairly... 更多
Stopped in for a quick drink, and my wife and I ended up staying for a few hours. Great 4 piece blues band, then they had a female singer join them for some soul type songs. Don't miss if you're on Beale street.
1st trip to Memphis. Went down to walk and do the tourist Beale street thing. Ordered the BBQ platter which was ribs, pulled pork, voodoo potatoes and slaw. The meal was terrific They piled it so high I could not finish it all. After dinner I sat out side and listened to the live blues band playing. I had a... 更多
The restaurant is on Beale Street, in the middle of all the action but it is not roudy. It is a family restaurant. The service was very good, polite and friendly. The décor and lighting is warm and rustic for lack of a better word. Two of us split the Cajun Feast. The Po Boy was fresh and tasty. The... 更多
Great bands playing outside here in the courtyard. They really got people dancing andkept the party going. This all went on outside on the patio so when the rains came, which they do with a vengeance in Memphis, everyone leaves! Inside we had a great burger with the statutory salty fries but good value for money. Invest in some brollies... 更多
Three years ago my wife and I came here to eat and got the gator tail. It was out of this world. It was big chunks of snow white gator meat that melted in your mouth. On out resent trip that was probably 50 % of the reason we came back to Beale street. I have to say we were... 更多
The band we saw on a Wednesday night, the Plantation All Stars, was fabulous. The fact that they allow smoking does bring things down for us. Let me record what I think I figured out, for future use, since I'm sure to be back to Memphis, and in the hope that someone may find it helpful. First, a lot of... 更多
Make no mistake, this is more a restaurant than a café. We were there for lunch in the main dining room (there is a room next door with live music in the evenings). The gumbo was excellent and the pulled pork was some of the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself is quite old and gives you a taste... 更多
We were seated very quickly and had both our drink order and food order taken. Our waitress was training a new employee. After about fifteen minutes of waiting another employee brought our food. We had to get our drink refills from the bar. Our waitress never came back to check on us after taking our order. NOT ONCE. On the... 更多
