This is not too difficult of a hike, easily done slowly by even the worst of couch potatoes. But if you are a steady hiker, this one is easy. It's well worth the time to hike to see the amazing topography. The views on a clear day are fantastic and you can explore for hours if you wish. I recommend... 更多
We went on a windy day and did not get very far as we had kids with us and it was freezing. But what a site. Just beautiful. Follow the road for about 2 miles up the single lane road (with lots of passing places) sealed to a car park up the top of the hill. From here you can... 更多
Hired a car for our stay in Skye and driving over the top at Quiraing was worth it! Views outstanding...felt like we were on top of Skye. Beautiful.
For travelers in decent shape, the Quiraing hikes are very accessible and absolutely worth a few hours of your time. With gradual elevation changes and fairly well-worn trails, the Quiraing affords hikers of all levels some splendid views of the sea as well as northeastern Skye. Sheep scattered throughout the area provide company for even the solo hikers, and some... 更多
A beautiful collection of odd shaped hills and mountains. Great views from the car parks. Drive through on a one tract road, which is the norm for much of the Island.
It was a rainy day, but we managed to walk up the hill for a great view of the region. The walk was not tough at all. Its by the motorway and 20 minutes is all you need.
I’m still in awe of how beautiful and rugged this area was. The views are simply incredible and the hike was a good one and fairly easy. We drove up to the car park and then hiked from there – the drive up is a bit scary at times with the one lane and people driving too fast but don’t... 更多
If you're looking for a great easy trek, this will be the one for you. Amazing views. Car park too. There is a path in place too to follow and then you can take which ever path you wish. Take a packed lunch!!
We drove the entire Quiraing loop and saw some amazing scenery. Not the easiest of drives as the majority is single lane with passing bays. The majority of drivers we met along the way followed "the rules", although I think some tourists either didn't know, or didn't care about the way to drive under these conditions.
